Here’s the short blurb from my synopsis:

Kathryn Graham and Nick Pringle are aspiring writers at a weekly magazine. Kathryn is smart, stubborn, and sometimes abrasive. And the one thing she wants more than anything is to be a serious reporter. Her coworker and sometimes writing partner, Nick, is easy going and down to earth. When Christmas comes along, Nick realizes that Kathryn has lost her Christmas spirit; and he is determined to help her find it again and maybe in the course of things let her know how much he loves her.

It is a sweet, tender romance. You can think of it as a romantic Christmas special you might watch on TV over the season. What ends up happening without giving too much away is that Nick decides to start sending Kathryn gifts each day for the 12 days of Christmas from her Secret Santa. And during that time, they also have to work on a story covering the toy drive for the children’s home. But will all of this really make a difference in Kathryn? And what happens when she begins to fall for her secret Santa, making Nick jealous?
