I have great news. One of my shorts (about 10K) was contracted this weekend by the Wild Rose Press. The title is A Night of NovelTea. It’s a suspense but it is written in a Chicklit style – so it’s like light suspense with comedy. I’m very excited. I’m hoping to make it a series of shorts. NovelTea is the name of the book store/tea shop where she works. It is also a play on the word Novelty since my heroine believes her life has become boring and mundane. For you Jane Austen fans, you will find this story a treat. The book Persuasion plays an important role. Here is a little blurb.
