My Christian Inspirational romance, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Your Wedding, was offered a contract from Wild Rose Press just before Christmas. I should receive the contract when their offices open up again in the New Year. What a gift! I’ve been conversing with an editor over there since Thanksgiving. And she’s been so nice and helpful. I’m sure she will be great to work with in getting “Funny Thing” ready for publication.
I’ve put an updated version of the first chapter of “Funny Thing” and an excerpt from my new beach novella, “Return of Summer,” up in the Excerpts section. Have a Happy New Year Everyone!!

The Spirit of Christmas centers around a story of giving. Kathryn begins to receive Secret Santa gifts and messages and they in turn begin to change her for the better. I, of course, got the idea of using the 12 days of Christmas in this story from the Christmas carol about the 12 days of Christmas. I also use Jingle Bells and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear within the story. What are some of your favorite Christmas carols and why?

I’m starting a new contest to get us all ready for Christmas and the release of my book, The Spirit of Christmas. All you have to do it tell me what your favorite Christmas books and/or movies are that you like to read/watch this time of year. Tell me what you look for in a good Christmas story.
